I created this resource page to easily list recommended services, products, and companies that I use and/or those I know are valuable. This way you can quickly find great products and services all in one place. This page contains affiliate links. I only recommend products that I use & love. Please see my full disclosure statement for more details. Thanks for your support!

Affiliate Networks:

Flex offers is an affiliate network that includes over ten thousand programs that you can earn money from. By joining Flex Offers, you will be able to earn money promoting products from popular brands such as, T-Mobile, Bodybuilding.com, Fred Meyers Jewelry, Orbitz, Nordstrom, Samsung, Nike and Medifast just to name a few. After you are accepted into the Flex Offers Network, you are automatically eligible to participate in their Flex-Rev Share Program. Flex-Rev Share allows you to exponentially grow your income by earning a commission of up to 50% of the earnings of your direct referrals.

Web Hosting:

Here’s another prayer crossed off my list. I started off with hosting by Bluehost and quickly learned that not all web hosting companies are created equal. If you want a website with fast loading time from a company that offers superb customer service, then SiteGround is the way to go! Normally they charge $9.95/month, but they’ve agreed to allow me to run an exclusive promotion that provides a discounted rate of $3.95/month and receive a FREE domain name and email address. That’s an offer that you can’t beat.

WordPress Themes:

The first step to customizing your website includes choosing a WordPress theme. Even though there are many free themes out there, I highly recommend going with a premium theme as they offer many more features that will enhance your reader’s experience and you will receive regular updates to your website directly from the publisher. Whether you’re looking for a free theme to start with or want to take the leap to purchase a premium theme, go to MyThemeShop. I chose to use their Architech Theme to develop the Black Bloggers Network website and it is absolutely awesome! So much so that when I decided to redesign this website, I did so using the BloggingBox Theme. Their customer service is phenomenal, which is key for new bloggers and the platform is super easy to use. It’s all drag and drop so anyone can do it. Even you!

Email Marketing:

The best advice that I can give you is to build a community, collect email addresses and continue to develop useful, high quality content and resources that keeps them coming back for more. I’ve tried Mailchimp, ConvertKit and then I stumbled upon the answer to my prayers (Seriously, it was. LOL! Read about my search here) Thanks to GetResponse, I’m able to build my subscriber list, empower others with free email courses, offer free webinars and much more! The best part is that GetResponse is half the price of ConvertKit. I seriously couldn’t live without this tool.

Social Media:

StencilIf you’re like me and not a professional photographer, there’s a hack that allows you to still create stunning images. Believe it or not, ALL of the images that appear on the FIT website and social media pages were created using Stencil. There are many companies out there that allow you to create images for free, but you typically have to pay $1 each for premium images. At Stencil, there is a free option, but there’s also an option for you to pay a flat monthly rate, which allows you to select any image that you choose. Since I knew that I would be using Stencil exclusively to provide images that I use on my website, Pinterest, Instagram and FaceBook pages, I decided to opt for the unlimited plan for $18/month. This plan allows me to create as many images that I like and between Instagram and Pinterest, that is sometimes upwards of 20+ images/day. They also offer a Pro plan for $9/month that allows you to create 50 images per month so check them out for all of your imaging needs.

Tailwind: My social media strategy sometimes requires me to create 20+ images on a single day. Tailwind allows me to automate posts for Pinterest . I spend approximately one hour every Sunday to set up my posts for the week and bam! I’m done. For the next 7 days all of my images automatically post to Pinterest on the selected day and time. Without Tailwind I definitely wouldn’t be able to implement my Pinterest strategy.
