January 1st… Another New Year… Another New Year Resolution….

 

This is the year that I’m really going to lose this weight. ALL 50 POUNDS! Yep, I’m going to do it! Seriously, I am.

 

That pretty much describes the conversation that I’ve had with myself every year for at least the last 5 years. My daughter is 2 and I’m still carrying some of the weight that I added on during my pregnancy.

It doesn’t help that I had already gained 35-40 pounds before I even became pregnant so that let’s you know where I am.

This year I promised myself that things were going to be different though.

I was determined to figure out a way to stay motivated so that I would consistently work towards my goal to lose 50 pounds without jumping off the bandwagon after the first week or two.

With these thoughts fresh on my brain, I was scrolling through Facebook and as always sponsored ads popped up that aligned perfectly with what I was thinking about.

Isn’t it crazy how Facebook does that?

This particular sponsored ad said something like ‘Earn $10,000 Just For Losing Weight.’

Immediately I thought ‘Yes, $10,000 will definitely motivate me to lose weight’ so I clicked on the ad.

It took me to an article that described how I could place a bet on myself and as long as I lost the weight, I would get my money back + some winnings. Intrigued, I decided to check out the offer & it took me to the HealthyWage website.

Using their calculator I determined that if I placed a $900 bet to lose 50 pounds in 9 months, I could potentially win up to $2857.

Sounds great, right?

Well it did before I read the fine print.

The way the process works, I’d be paying them $100/month for 9 months. That $100 is going to continue coming out of my account for 9 months even if I lose all of my weight in 5 months.

Ummm…. No Thank You!

No matter how quickly the weight comes off, I don’t do my final weigh in until September and if I weigh 163 or less at that time, then I get paid from them.

That’s cool, but it’s not for me.

Why not?

I don’t believe in the concept of paying money to get money.

I could be doing much more with $100 per month then giving it to a company and not seeing any return on it for almost a year.

I don’t want to wait that long to start seeing money in my bank account.

If I’m losing weight NOW, then I want to get paid NOW.

Hack #1 ‘Only Promote Programs that Pay You’ sounds simple enough, but you’ll be surprised how many people use their social media platforms to promote companies for free.

I completely understand why though.

My weight has fluctuated between 130-225 since high school and that’s not including when I got up to 270 while pregnant. If you’re anything like me then you’ve been on this weight loss journey for a long time.

You’ve tried to lose weight on more than one occasion and have maybe even had a measure of success, but eventually all of the weight came back.

I’ve been there so I know how frustrating it is!

I lost 50 pounds on Atkins in 2009, then my father passed away in 2010. Needless to say, a terrible case of emotional eating cause the weight to slowly return until I was right back where I started from.

When you finally find a program that works and the pounds start to disappear, you’re excited and want to shout it from the mountaintops!

 

It’s like saying to everyone that’s ever called you fat, ‘Hey look at me now, hater!’

 

Oh, that’s the best feeling in the world and I’m not trying to take it away from you, but what this course is designed to do is to get you paid when you do that.

 

Instead of just saying ‘Hey look at me now’ to the person from high school that called you fat, you will be saying ‘Hey look at me now and here’s how you can do it too.’

If you go to the footer on the website of any of the popular programs, you’re almost always guaranteed to see a link to their affiliate program. If they don’t have an affiliate program, then they have an ambassador or referral program that allows you to earn money by sending customers their way.
